Overview
Ouzoud Falls is one of the most picturesque day trips from Marrakech, and it's easy to understand why the moment you arrive. The beauty of the falls and their natural surroundings speaks for itself. As the water level rises, the falls take on a majestic quality and from time to time, rainbows appear in the mist. A series of gentle steps leads you closer to the water, past local artisan stalls. The resident monkeys are famously curious and playful — a selfie with them is practically guaranteed. From the base, a small local boat brings you even closer to the falls for a view that photographers particularly love. After the waterfalls, we continue to a nearby valley for lunch, then make a final stop at Imi N'Ifri — a natural cave with a breathtaking view over the surrounding landscape — before returning to Marrakech.

Morning · Drive to Ouzoud
Depart Marrakech in the morning with a comfortable drive through the foothills of the Atlas Mountains toward the Ouzoud Valley. The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours with scenic views along the way.
Midday · Ouzoud Falls, Monkeys & Boat Ride
Arrive at the falls and begin the descent via gentle steps. Along the way, discover local artisan stalls selling handcrafted goods. Encounter the Barbary macaque monkeys — friendly, curious, and great for photos. At the base, take an optional boat ride to get up close to the cascades. The fine mist, rainbow light, and sheer power of the falls are best experienced from the water.
Afternoon · Valley Lunch & Imi N'Ifri Cave
Head to a nearby valley for lunch at a local restaurant (not included). Afterwards, we visit Imi N'Ifri — a natural cave and geological wonder offering a peaceful pause with panoramic views over the surrounding landscape. Return drive to Marrakech, arriving in the early evening.
